Inside Out

INSIDE OUT is a fanfare for two pianos. It was written in the fall 0f 1993 as part of a commission by Laura Simpson and the Lubbock Music Teachers Association. The work gets its title from the way the intervals from the opening chords invert themselves and create the melodic and harmonic structure of the work. Special thanks go to Laura Simpson for her input in the composition of this piece.
